Inc. Magazine Lists Isagenix Among Fastest-Growing Companies

Chandler, Ariz. – Sept. 10, 2007 – Isagenix’s rapid growth has earned the world leader in nutritional cleansing a spot on Inc. magazine’s 2007 list of 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.

Isagenix is ranked No. 1,531. There are more than 31 million business entities in the U.S., with approximately 98 percent privately owned. The complete Inc. 5000 list can be viewed by visiting http://www.inc.com/inc5000/2007/company-profile.html?id=200715310.

“To be included in the Inc. 5000 just validates that Isagenix is well on its way to being the largest health and wellness company in the world,” said Jim Coover, Isagenix president and CEO.

“This is no small feat,” said John Koten, Mansueto Ventures (Inc.) CEO and editor in chief. “Building one of America’s fastest-growing private companies is something Isagenix can be deeply proud of.”

Inc. also recognized Isagenix for quite a few notable qualities. These included: having a healthy and increasing revenue, a growing client base of health conscious people, passionate about lifestyle enrichment and a founding executive staff that wishes to directly impact the happiness, health and wealth of the world through nutritional cleansing.

According to the company, nutritional cleansing is a process that cleanses the body internally while replenishing it with proper nutrition. To the delight of those who have tried it, an ancillary benefit is immediate visible weight-loss results.

The Isagenix philosophy is founded on the premise that cleansing—a routine practiced throughout history—assists the body in its natural ability to remove toxins and waste from the body. The company uses the analogy of changing a car’s oil or brushing one’s teeth as other examples of modern-day “cleansing” we already do.

“Think of nutritional cleansing as giving the inside of your body a shower,” said Isagenix Chief Science Officer Bill Wheeler, Ph.D., ASCM.

Added Dr. Wheeler, an additional health benefit of cleansing is it can kick-start effective, long-term weight loss when combined with nutrition, reduced calories and appropriate exercise. Nearly 80 individuals have lost at least 100 pounds or more from following Isagenix’s “system.”

The health and wellness company, which also does business in Puerto Rico, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand, has grown from $65 million in sales revenues in 2005 to $120 million in 2006.
